It Is Now Okay For a Man To Hit a Woman

Not Really?

Before your head explodes in contempt towards my perceived perception, let me set the record straight. No, I don?t actually think it is now okay for a man to hit a woman. My title is facetiously mocking now retired MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter Fallon Fox.

On September 13, 2014 Tamikka Brents and Fallon Fox fought at the CCCW: The Undertaking event. Fallon Fox won by TKO (Technical Knockout) in two minutes and seventeen seconds. Oh and another thing, Tamikka Brent?s skull was fractured in the fight. Tamikka was essentially beaten to a pulp and some argued her injuries would be career ending.

Why should the result of this fight be of concern to anyone? It is obvious that if you fight in MMA competition you?re inherently risking injury. Well here?s the thing, Fallon Fox is actually a Trans ?woman?. In other words, ?she? is a man fighting an actual woman.

Sanctioned Cheating?

For many, myself included, a biological man who identifies as a woman is not my concern. However, the social significance of this individual?s perception can?t be denied. In other words, although self-identification aspects are of a personal nature, it becomes a public issue when the individual interacts in the social realms of any society. Whether it?s the question of which restroom they should use, what pronoun people are required to address them with, or who they are permitted to compete against in competitive sports. For me, I was a student athlete in college, I played football. Therefore, I want to focus on the question of the competitive sports component. Should biological men who identify as a woman be permitted to compete against biological women in sports? From my perspective the answer is emphatically no.

I started out this essay by talking about Fallon Fox a transgender ?woman? who literally cracked the skull of Tamikka Brents a biological woman in an MMA match. The overwhelming physical differences between a man and woman were on full display in this competition. But what about non-contact sports that have permitted Trans ?women? to compete with biological women? Is the competition between Trans ?women? and biological women on equal footing just because they are both competing in a non-contact sport? The answer to this question is no.

Take for instance what transpired in a track and field competition in Connecticut at Hillhouse High School. Two transgender athletes were permitted to compete against the girls in the Connecticut girls Class S indoor track meet. Not only did both win the race, but Terry Miller, who is transitioning to female, set a girls state indoor record. Critics say that Miller?s gender identity essentially gives him an unfair advantage (Eaton-Robb, 2019). I mean of course it does. This is a biological man male genitalia running against actually women who have female genitalia. This is a young man with XY chromosomes, heavier bone density, greater muscle mass, and larger hands and feet among other things competing against young women.

She?s Not a Robot, She?s A Woman!

Why are we in society being told we have to accept this ?progress? from groups of individuals (mostly liberals) who support and peddle mental illness as the new normal? Why should these young women and others like them, at the professional level and the amateur ranks be subjected to competing against biological men and boys who clearly have a mental illness? Accepting untruths such as Trans ?women? reminds me of a The Twilight Zone episode, The Lonely. Cory was convinced the robot was a woman. After living with Alicia (the robot) for so long, Cory just accepted that she was a real woman and not a hunk of metal. Cory?s thinking is the same mentality that many have in our society today. If we hear about men that can ?give birth? then we as a society will just accept the ?fact? that Trans ?women? are actually women. When in fact, as an allegory, they are just a robot.

You Can?t Have It Both Ways

According to Planned Parenthood, they want parents to teach their preschoolers that ?their genitals don?t determine their gender?. What?s more LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) activists often say, ?Gender is not what?s between your legs, it?s what?s between your ears? (Brown, 2017). However, if that is the case, why are biological boys who are convinced (or brainwashed) he?s really a girl put on hormone blockers to stop the onset of puberty so that he won?t develop as a boy? Moreover, why does he get a ?sex change surgery? to change is genitals when he becomes of age (Brown, 2017). You can?t have it both ways.

I personally don?t hate any individual who claims they are the opposite sex of what they were assigned at birth. Frankly, I understand that these individuals in many cases are struggling mentally to understand who they are as a person, just as many of us do. However, their struggle just so happens to deal with their physical attributes that make them a biological man or woman. According to the American Psychiatric Association (APA), this condition is referred to as gender dysphoria. In addition ?a person?s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking.? (American College of Pediatrics, 2017). American College of Pediatrics (2017) continue,

?When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the mind not the body, and it should be treated as such.?

Reality Has To Be The Truth Of Society.

?The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.? (Proverbs 1:7)

For all the atheists and the agnostics alike, the above bible verse is something they will not be inclined to believe. Fortunately, for many people around the world, this verse has significance in its meaning. Perhaps one of the main problems in American society (and many others), is the lack of fear for a higher power. If an individual feels as though they have no accountability to anyone but themselves, then perhaps they are capable of doing anything no matter how obscene or absurd it may seem. Again, I understand everyone may not agree with this perception, but it doesn?t mean it?s not true.

Truth has been hijacked in America into an unadulterated perversion that is disseminated unashamed. Allowing transgender men into social spaces of biological women (and vice versa) is something that will have negative social consequences that will manifest themselves in various ways. This is not fear mongering! This is a reality that has to be faced head on.

The very people who say and act as though they are so knowledgeable (academics, politicians, and even clergy), have no wisdom within them in many cases. Many have sold the truth in an effort to seem as though they are inclusive, respectable, and receptive to progressive ideas. However, the reality is one of self-loathing, exclusivity, and regression.

?Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.? (Proverbs 23:23)
