For the record, I tried a couple (including the fancy plastic ones) and while they might seem more functional, adjustable, they end up being heavier, clunkier, and the fine lens distance adjustments really don?t help ? you?re going to feel fatigue no matter what. Also, the distance between the lenses and the phone is greater in some of the plastic ones, creating a ?movie watching? affect instead of an ?immersion? effect.
Viewing Tips
Eye FatigueWhen you first use cardboard, your eyes will probably not be used to it and you will feel fatigue. Your eyes will eventually get used to it, but even so, though I am not an optometrist I recommend you don?t watch VR porn for too long, perhaps in 10?15 minute stretches. Do what you feel comfortable with.
Quick Head MountOne trick to create a make-shift head mount is to just use a belt. Works great and is free. Don?t bother spending more on fancy headset gear.
