The definitive list of NYC getaway boutique design hotels.

The definitive list of NYC getaway boutique design hotels.

Includes the best boutique hotels from the Catskills, Hudson Valley, Long Island, and Pensylvania ? anything less than a short 3.5 hours outside of NYC.

Last updated: Feb 13, 2019NOTE: This is a work in progress, and is constantly improving.

This a complete list of modern, design and experience-focused boutique hotels within a 3-hour drive of New York City. Over the past few months, I?ve compiled a lot of my own research and wanted to make a resource for everyone. Often we read of the ?10 best getaways upstate? and that?s great for marketing and PR-BS. I wanted THE LIST of them all ? and there?s a lot.

I?ve found that there?s no definitive source list of all the new and beautiful hotels that have blossomed over the past 8 years.

If I missed yours (so sorry ? lots of noise to sift through out there) please contact me. If you want to update any information I?ve listed ? please contact me.

I?ve included beautiful photography and an idea of the price point of a King-sized room. I tried to limit this list to a 3.5hr drive out of the South Brooklyn area.

The best way I?ve found to scour this large doc is by searching for the emoji you care most about as listed in the key belowORSearch regionally by copying and pasting one of these into a doc search:West of the Hudson River, NYEast of the Hudson River, NY (coming soon!)North Fork Long Island, NY (coming soon!)Pennsylvania (coming soon!)

Here is a Google Map list of all the hotels I?ve listed below:

So here it is 🙂 Feedback and corrections are very welcome.
