By default Office is installed in? 32-bit! So if you are unsure which version of Office you have, then most likely you have Office 32-bit . Here are the instructions to check whether Office is installed in 32 bit or 64 bit edition:
- Run an Office application such as Word for example
- As needed start a new document
- Click File tab in the ribbon
- Click Account on the left menu
- Click About Word button
On top of the window you shall see the version and edition of Word. If one of your office applications runs in 32 bit, then all Office applications must be 32 bit. If either application runs in 64 bit, then this applies to all other Office applications just as well.

No. Office cannot be simultaneously installed in both 32 and 64 bit. All Office applications must either be 64bit or 32bit.
