Big Ed?s City Market Restaurant
Easily claims shrine-status in Raleigh. Friendly staff, family atmosphere, well worth the (occasional) wait in line. Home-cooked breakfast on the cheap makes Big Ed?s heaven for that hangover.
Beasley?s Chicken + Honey

Ashley Christensen just doing her thing & crushing it, per usual. Chalkboard menus and down home – yet ultra sophisticated – Southern cooking at its finest. The chicken & waffles do not disappoint.
Finch?s Family Restaurant (Hurry – closing soon!)
After 60+ years, the old-school diner is being forced out of its home (and allegedly planting new roots in Durham) due to pesky bridge construction. Get a visit in before October 31st and prepare to join a breakfast club of very sad Finch?s fanatics.

Good luck choosing between the Steak & Egg Sammy, Breakfast BLT Tacos and Chicarron & Waffles. Wash any of those down with a ?Masmosa? and prepare for the ultimate nap.
NoFo at The Pig
Eclectic southern vibes and an award-winning gift shop make NoFo a cool spot to bring out-of-towners. If gift shops aren?t your thing, the Fried Green Tomato Benedict or Pulled Pork Hash might suit your fancy.
Joule Coffee & Table

Another AC concept, another smash hit (because #duh).. Experimental caffeinated beverages, coffeehouse vibes, and even more finger-lickin? good eats. Oh, did we mention craft cocktails like boozy cold brew?
Humble Pie
Brunch complete with sunny outdoor tiki bar.. yes please. Small but mighty menu. The shrimp & grits ? made with ?broth of the gods? ? is anything but humble.
The Station at Person Street

Plenty of outdoor seating, neighborhood vibes, and dueling flat screens. Station?s the perfect Sunday spot to watch the game and grab some hair of the dog.
The Remedy Diner
Vegan-friendly comfort food; both herbivores & omnivores welcome. Smoked gouda grits for days and homemade, vegan desserts highlight the little diner?s tasty offerings.
Tazza Kitchen

A pride in sourcing local that you can taste. Quite the impressive spread of farm-fresh spreads (two words: bacon butter).. plus breakfast pizza, breakfast sammies, killer french toast & a little something for everyone.
Plates Neighborhood Kitchen
What?s brunch without bottomless mimosas? Add in cozy outdoor patio vibes plus hearty brunch plates mixed in with lighter fare choices and you won?t want to leave.
Tupelo Honey Cafe

Come for the sweet potato pancake, stay for the rest of the menu. Signature cocktails, small plates, fork & knife biscuit sandwiches and all the classics you know and love.
Irregardless Cafe
Eggs on eggs on eggs highlight this egg-cellent menu (excuse the bad pun). Frittatas, omelets, scrambles ? you name it, they?ve got it. Very vegan/vegetarian-friendly with plenty of options for the meat lover too.

The Biscuit Du Jour is just about always rave-review worthy. One of the better, more extensive drink menus out there for if you?re looking to get boozy, caffeinated or both.
