The Hidden Dangers Lurking In Bang Energy Drinks

The new energy drink fad popular these days is Bang energy, and most people believe it to be a healthy alternative to Red Bull or Monster. However, is it really? After reading about it, as I am an avid energy drink fan, I was pretty disappointed. Not only was Bang not a healthy alternative, but it also wasn?t really ?healthy? at all. In fact, there are a number of reasons why I believe it to be far worse than many energy drinks, and if you don?t believe me, read what I found out.

1. It contains the caffeine of three cups of coffee.

And not only is it 300 mg of caffeine per can, but it?s also actually eerily close to being past the healthy limit on caffeine, which is 400 mg. While that may not cause overdose, it possibly could for the right person, and at the very least it can cause some bad side effects.

2. Creatine levels.

It doesn?t necessarily say how much it contains, but if you take into account the level of other amino acids in the drink, it?s likely to be between 4?32.5 mg. The safe limit for creatine is 5 grams each day, but the creatine contained in the drink is actually ?super creatine? which hasn?t been evaluated by the FDA for what Bang is saying it is good for focus.

3. It?s listed as one of the most dangerous energy drinks?

4. It contains sucralose.

Not only is sucralose not good for you, but it can also actually encourage you to be hungrier, thus thwarting any fat-burning properties the drink contains. And while that is bad enough, it has also been linked to various cancers, and worse.

5. It can lead to stroke.

When caffeine and creatine are mixed, and when combined with other weight loss supplements, it can lead to deadly results. If you do decide to drink this dangerous drink, be careful not to mix it with other drinks or supplements.

6. It contains acesulfame potassium.

Yet another artificial sweetener that has been linked to various health conditions, and is known to cause sugar cravings is contained in this beverage. While you skip the sugar, you may make up for it during the cravings you experience. Honestly, you?d be better off drinking sugar.
