Somiibo Review: Discovering Social Media Automation

Somiibo Review: Discovering Social Media Automation

Today I?m going to introduce you to a little tool called Somiibo.

As someone who is interested in social media marketing, Somiibo has been on my radar for quite some time now.

It?s been called a social media bot ? and surprisingly offers social media automation for almost every social media site out there: Instagram, SoundCloud, Twitter, Facebook, Spotify, and more.

I?ll cut straight to the point: if you?re looking for a tool that can take care of automating all of your social media profiles?then I would absolutely recommend Somiibo.

BUT? Let?s get into some details.

The Positives

Safety

The first thing that comes to mind with these sorts of things is safety. I can say with confidence that I have used Somiibo to help aid my marketing on almost every social media platform and have not had even a slight inclination that my account?s safety was at risk. None of my accounts were banned or suspended and throughout the 6+ months that I have used this app, I have never encountered any strange activity on my accounts nor do I have any reason to believe that the accounts have been compromised. I?ve had issues with this in the past and I can vouch that this is not an issue with Somiibo.

Multi-tasking ability

Somiibo?s tab system is a game changer. Never before have I been able to automate my Instagram, SoundCloud, Twitter, and Spotify all in one place and all at the same time. Seriously, being able to just sift through tabs is beyond amazing. For those of you that aren?t aware, this app lets you open tabs in a way similar to a browser like Chrome and run each tab like its own isolated environment.

This also allows you to take advantage of the Session feature and basically multi-login to accounts. This is a very useful feature for those of us like myself that have, say, 3+ Instagram accounts. I no longer have to log in and out of each one, and I can automate all 3 simultaneously. Huge win here.

Breadth of services

What good would multitasking be if the app only offered one service? Unlike something like Instagress or Jarvee, Somiibo offers a variety of services across many social media platforms. At the time of writing, here are some of the services that Somiibo offers

  • Instagram
  • SoundCloud
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Tumblr
  • Spotify
  • Mixcloud
  • YouTube
  • YouLikeHits

And what?s more is that Somiibo provides what the call modules for each one of those services. So, for example, there?s one module for SoundCloud that helps promote your content by automatically interacting with other users? content, called the SC Promo module. And there?s another module for SoundCloud dedicated to boosting your plays called the SC Play+ module.

Targeting

Somiibo has some pretty decent targeting options in each of the modules. You can of course search by hashtags and phrases and you can also further target by the number of followers and followings a profile has, the number of likes on a post, and even the date of the post to target the most relevant, and newly posted content. You can also take advantage of their disengagement feature to automatically unfollow accounts that have been followed through Somiibo.

The Negatives

Efficiency

To be honest, Somiibo can be a bit CPU-intensive at times. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of working directly with one of the developers to take a closer look at the programming and logic under the hood of Somiibo and, while I can?t divulge exactly how it works, I can say that it is some of the most advanced artificial intelligence design that I have ever seen. Seriously, this thing is a beast. It sucks that it can run slow sometimes and hog CPU, but it is well worth it in the long run. This program is working very hard to deliver a seamless experience and to ensure that the user?s accounts are guarded securely. It?s running very intensive calculations to simulate a perfect user experience. On top of that, you won?t really run into issues in the first place if you are just planning on doing some moderate botting.

Cost

Unfortunately, with these services, it?s very much a you-get-what-you-pay-for type of thing. Somiibo does have a free version but you don?t get nearly as good of targeting as you do with the paid version. That being said though, the paid version is still pretty cheap for what you get: automating pretty much every relevant social media platform under the sun for $21.95 per month. Most competing automation services charge $15+ per month for just Instagram.

The guys over at Somiibo were nice enough to give me a discount so if you want to pick up their premium package for 30% off you can use this link and you?ll only end up paying $14.95 per month.

The Verdict: Should you use and trust Somiibo?

Many people have compared Somiibo to the late Mass Planner. Which is fair! It does a lot of work for you, and it does it well. Overall I would give Somiibo a 4/5 stars just because of a few bugs here and there but I highly recommend that you check it out for yourself. It is definitely one of the best tools I have ever used for social media marketing!
