Powerful Prayer for Dying Dog

Your dog is part of your family and included here is the prayer I said for my own dog when she was dying.

In some cases, God can heal your ailing four-legged friend. In others, he can help ease their pain and suffering and guide them on to heaven.

To begin with, a prayer for healing. If your dog is sick or hurt and in need of healing from The Lord. This prayer can help heal and restore them fully into your life.

Heavenly Father, Please help us in our time of need, You have made us stewards of (name of pet). If it is Your will, please restore him (her) to health and strength. I pray too for other animals in need. May they be treated with the care and respect deserving of all Your creation. Blessed are You Lord God, and holy is Your name for ever and ever.Amen

You can, if you choose to, have your custom prayer hand-delivered to one of the Holy Churches of Jerusalem: by clicking here.

If it is your dog’s time to join Our Father then these two prayers give your thanks to God for having them in your life and help in the grieving process.

Our Father,

Thank you for giving me this wonderful dog. They are a faithful friend who has brought such companionship, joy and contentment into my life. I ask that you would be beside him/her. Please bring your touch of restoration and healing. Take away any pain and come whisper your love to him/her.

Be with us Lord. I love him/her so much and give all my fears and anxieties to you now.

Dear Lord, as I grieve the loss of my petMy constant companion, my wonderful friendGive me sweet glimpses of heavenly graceOf life in renewal and the wonder, you?ve made.

Comfort my heart with deep memoriesOf intimate bonds of dwelling with them.Calm all my thoughts, they are safe in your arms,Eternity has room for their precious hearts.Help me to give thanks for the joy that they?ve beenSoften my sadness, come stay close to me.

This is the prayer I said with my own dog. The Last Battle.

If it should be that I grow frail and weakAnd pain should keep me from my sleep,Then will you do what must be done,For this ? the last battle ? can?t be won.You will be sad I understand,But don?t let grief then stay your hand,For on this day, more than the rest,Your love and friendship must stand the test.We have had so many happy years,You wouldn?t want me to suffer so.When the time comes, please, let me go.Take me to where to my needs they?ll tend,Only, stay with me till the endAnd hold me firm and speak to meUntil my eyes no longer see.I know in time you will agreeIt is a kindness you do to me.Although my tail its last has waved,From pain and suffering I have been saved.Don?t grieve that it must be youWho has to decide this thing to do;We?ve been so close ? we two ? these years,Don?t let your heart hold any tears.
