What is Brilliant?

Brilliant is a site that follows the freemium business model, which means, yes, you do have to pay if you want to get the value of Brilliant. Students, professionals, and life-long learners can learn about high school math and beyond at the level of the university style. You can also learn physics and computer science(like Machine Learning). The core topics that Brilliant teaches you are Algebra, Number Theory, Statistics & Probability, Geometry, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Logic, Contest Math. It even has electricity & Magnetism, Science Essentials, Physics, Classical Mechanics, Quantum Computing, Astronomy, Data Structures, Python 3., Artificial Neural Networks(ANNs), Machine Learning(ML), and so much more! Plus, you?ll also learn what?s it?s like to be on an online community, as you can freely contribute your problems and ideas. Also, if you don?t understand a concept, fear not! Brilliant has its own set of Wikis, designed to help you learn the concept, and take quizzes to master it. Best of all, everything on Brilliant doesn?t make you memorize complex formulas, but instead focusing on problem-solving and learning to think.

1. Educational Content

RATING: 5.0 / 5.0 or 100%

The content is awesome! I loved it from the beginning of the subscription as it was crafted with love and sparks lifelong learners.

2. User Interface(UI)

RATING: 3.5/5.0 or 70%

Although the educational value is good, the User Interface needs some improvement, especially the wikis. Though the content in the wikis is perfect, it?s hard to navigate.

Overall Rating of Brilliant

OVERALL RATING: 4.25/5.0 or 85%

Subjects: Maths, Science, and Computer Science

Skills you?ll learn: Thinking & Reasoning, and academic development

Genre: Education

Pricing Structure: Free for anyone to try out the first few lessons of each course, requires you to pay for full access

Business Model: Freemium model(free for essential basic services, $$$ needed for advanced services)

Is the pricing a little bit pricey: YES! $120/year or $9.99/month is a bit expensive for people on a budget limit.

So for my grand finale: Will I buy it again when my subscription expires?

Answer: Yes. It is an awesome site that incorporates learning with fun!
