On January 23rd, Tinder started gradually rolling out its new Photo Verification feature. After taking a couple of posed selfies, Tinder verifies you are who you claim to be, and grants your profile that much coveted blue check mark.
Sounds good right? The only problem is that for most users, this feature is not yet available. And with no expected arrival date, it can be frustrating.
Follow these simple steps to instantly enable the Photo Verification feature, and get your blue check mark today.
How to enable the Photo Verification feature
- Visit https://tinder.com/app/recs and log in if you haven?t already
- Open the console by pressing Command+Option+J (Mac) or Control+Shift+J (Windows, Linux, Chrome OS)
- Paste the following code into the console and hit enter
Photo verification is now enabled ??
How to get Tinder Verified
Now click the grey check mark next to your name:
And follow the on-screen instructions:
Upon finishing the process, you can expect to receive the following notification within a few of hours:
Ta da! Your Tinder profile is now officially verified.
