Blue Apron has a stupid cancellation process. Their own help site states:
To cancel your account, please email [email protected] by the ?Changeable By? date reflected in your ?Account Settings.? You will receive an email back with next steps to follow, so please read that email carefully.
When you send an email to that address, you receive an automated reply:
To cancel your Blue Apron meals or wine membership, [click this link](https://www.blueapron.com/cancel_subscription) and follow the instructions to complete the cancellation process.
Why the completely unnecessary extra step? And why the unformatted markdown? I hate UI dark patterns like this, it just makes your website look shady.
So, to cancel your Blue Apron account, skip the pointless email step. Simply visit https://www.blueapron.com/cancel_subscription.
