Due to the increasing popularity of Young Sheldon, CBS had renewed Young Sheldon Season 3 & Season 4 at once in February 2019. And as of now, CBS is keeping up with their promise to the Sheldon fans. Season 3 of Sheldon Cooper?s show ended on April 30th, and since then the production of the show is at a halt. But as Young Sheldon is fixed to come back for a Season 4, the team will soon begin filming as soon as the situation comes back to normal.

Iain Armitage?s Young Sheldon show has had a successful three-season run till now. The first two seasons had 22 episodes each, but the third season only ran till the 21st episode. The team was in the middle of filming Episode 21 and 22 when they were asked to shut down the shoot due to the Pandemic. Steven Molaro, the co-creator of Young Sheldon told TVLine :
?We sometimes shoot on location at Van Nuys High School, and on the second day of production, they kicked us out. ?They were like, ?You?ve got to go now.? We were trying to get Iain?s stuff done just in case, and we were hoping we could maybe find a way to, you know, rebuild part of what we were doing on the stage the next day, and the superintendent was like, ?Get them out now,? and we understood. ?We left, and that ended up being our last day.?

Fans were extremely hyped up to see Sheldon joining college for graduation in Season 3 finale. However, all we can do now is to wait for Season 4 to witness the event.
