We?re constantly working to find new avenues to get our clients the spotlight they deserve ? whether it?s mentions on a podcast, shout outs from influencers or nerding out on Reddit. Unfortunately, as an industry we often look toward the shiniest new thing in lieu of finding ways to connect with existing, more focused outlets. There are plenty of community-focused websites, magazines and news outlets out there with a strong point of view and a dedicated audience ? let?s make sure we?re telling our stories there too.

In honor of Black History Month, we?re spotlighting 10 media outlets to follow, support and reach out to as they keep their audiences connected to what?s hot in black culture, fashion, politics and entertainment. Follow them on social, see what they?re writing about day-to-day, and refresh your media lists accordingly!
