1.) Washington Street Skate Park
Washington Street skate park is known for being a great park with some fast lines, crazy kinks, and one hell of a crazy keyhole. The park is continuously changing because of the dedication the builders put into the place. A park truly run by skaters. Washington Street is a place is recommended for anyone even for spectators (a few pros come from time to time).
Benefits include, no upfront costs, no need for pads or helmet, and parking is available right by the park. Washington Street skate park is located UNDER Pacific Highway allowing for skating in all whether conditions. This is a ?skateboard only? park run by locals.
A word from the wise, don?t be a kook. Watch how the park works and respect locals and other skaters there at the the time, you should be fine. The park is maintained by volunteers, so pick up your trash and help sweep up once-in-a-while.

2.) Rob Field Ocean Beach
Robb Field is the first skateboard park constructed and operated by the City of San Diego, designed with input from top local skateboarders, such as Tony Hawk. It?s located right next to the San Diego River Bike Path before entering the groovy city of Ocean Beach.
With 40,000 square feet of concrete, this skate park has something for everyone, regardless of age or skill level. The ?street course? design features a combination bowl, along with numerous handrails, ledges, blocks, a pump bump and an octagon volcano.

3.) Krause Family Skate Park
Your classic YMCA skate park run by friendly staff. Massive vert ramps and an all welcoming atmosphere. The office has comfortable seating and air conditioning for the parents to hang out while their kids rip.

4.) Memorial
This is a fun park and was one of the first public, free parks built in the early 2000s. It?s been a community asset for years and is a huge asset to the area?s youth. This park has produced more pros than any other in the county. This is what a community park should be.

5.) Poway Skate Park
Poway Skate Park is a great place for the beginner to intermediate Carver rider looking to build confidence and progress.
This spot is more isolated then most spots with a chill vibe and a noticeable lack of the typical criminal mischief due to being right by a police station. The park has progressive run capabilities and the surrounding areas are clean and maintained.

7.) Rancho Penasquitos Skate Park
Great park for early morning sessions if small transition or some big street drops are your thing. Plenty of room for flat ground skating too. It has a mix of terrain, from a concrete mini with a spine to large stair sets and hubs.
It?s safe, clean and newly updated. Bring the kids or get or sharpen your skills before starting the day.

8.) Linda Vista Skate Park
The Linda Vista skate park is the largest skate park in San Diego at nearly 35,000 square feet, designed by Site Design Group from Carlsbad, CA. The park includes a massive street plaza, a snaking ditch run, a flow bowl, a backyard bowl, a competition sized vert bowl, and a transition snake run featuring a signature full-pipe unlike any before it.
It is one of the most, if not the most, progressive skate parks in existence, and it achieves this not only because of the aforementioned list of elements, but also because it takes full advantage of the natural landscape in which it sits.
For spectators, some of the most striking features includes an amphitheater and a pedestrian bridge.

9.) Encinitas Skate Plaza
This park was 15 years in the making and it doesn?t disappoint. The 13,000 square-foot skate park is part of the 44-acre Encinitas Community Park that opened at the beginning of 2015. Cheers to local Encinitas skateboarder Tommy Barker for keeping the dream alive and lending a big hand in getting the park built.

10.) City Heights Skate Park
One of the smaller skate parks in San Diego, City Heights skate park has your favorite obstacles like flat bar, A frame with rail, euro gap and a flat / down rail. Other features include a spine, volcano and a nessy.
