You can create up to 5 Netflix profiles if you are using Netflix Premium Account. Each profile would have its own personalised viewing history and recommendations. However, this does not stop your Netflix sharers from being a little nosy and popping by your profile.

Currently, Netflix doesn?t have an Incognito Mode, so if you binged on that engaging Netflix TV series you agreed to watch only with your partner on Netflix Party, it is going to show up promptly in your Recently Watched and Continue Watching lists at where you left off the next time you log in to Netflix. I will be praying for you that your partner doesn?t pop into your Netflix Profile and have a look!

?However, there is a way out ? removing titles from your viewing history on Netflix so that you can satisfy those temptations as a movie junkie in absolute privacy.

??Log in to your Netflix account and go to Netflix Viewing Activity page using any Web browser on your computer, mobile device or smart TV. I?ve added the link here as a short cut. If you wish to navigate there, here is a step-by-step guide on how to delete your Netflix viewing history. Step 1. Go to the drop-down menu in the top right corner and select the button labelled ?Account?.

Step 2: Once there, scroll down to the ?PROFILE & PARENTAL CONTROLS? section, where you will find Viewing activity. Select ?View?

Step 3: Scroll through your viewing history and click the icon ? (which looks like a ?no entry? sign) beside the line item you wish to remove. ?

If the title was part of a TV series, Netflix prompts you to remove the entire series. Click on ?Hide series?? and the entire series will be removed at one go.

Refresh the page and you?ll see that the films have been removed. This also removes it from your Recently Watched and Continue Watching lists, clean and simple. In this case, I deleted ?Kungfu Panda? series. If I were to do a search you will notice Netflix does not display it as a film I?ve viewed before.

Clearing your cache is like refreshing for Netflix on your PC. Up till this step, if a person sharing Netflix account tries to take a sneak peek into your Profile, they would not find a thing. However, if your partner is a well-trained CSI detective and decides to do a raid on your PC we got you covered. While your viewing history is erased on Netflix application, it is not erased from your device at the moment. Here?s how you can delete your Netflix (or all other applications) viewing history from your device.

Deleting History From Your ComputerDeleting your browsing history in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome removes your Netflix history. However, this is probably overkill in most situations. If you just want to remove a few of your most recent Netflix flicks, delete them one at a time.

Internet ExplorerClick the Favourites star in Internet Explorer and then click the History tab. Scroll through the results and delete the most recent Netflix entries you want removed.

Alternatively, click the View menu and change it from View by Date to Search History. Type Netflix in the Search field. Right-click the most recent Netflix entries and select Delete.

ChromeClick the Chrome Menu icon and select History. Type Netflix in the Search field and click Search History. Click the small Arrow beside each Netflix entry and select Delete.

FirefoxClick the Menu icon in Firefox, select History and then Show All History. Type Netflix in the Search field and wait a moment for Firefox to filter the search results. Right-click each Netflix entry and select Delete This Page.
